Palletizing

Palletizing industries call for conveyors that can transport, accumulate and/or distribute goods to specific locations. The conveyor systems used in palletizing are an ideal combination of the efficiency of the stacker cranes and the entry, dispatch, and handling processes of the loads.

  • Pallet handling conveyors are designed to move pallets and other heavy-duty loads on belts, chains, or rollers to move large and heavy products safely, carefully, and efficiently.
  • Pallet conveyors optimize handling operations for manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution industries which lower the overall costs of operations.
  • Most pallet conveyors are positioned low to the ground due to the large, heavy, and sometimes unwieldy loads they carry and can be either powered or unpowered to offer seamless integration with ancillary pallet handling equipment. These include robotic palletizers and de-palletizers, turn tables, stretch wrappers, transfers, unit load ASRS, pallet dispensers, and more.
  • Pallet conveyors can also be used for accumulation, allowing for zero pressure accumulation features. Photo eye-controlled networks of AC and DC motor-controlled zone accumulation prevent product damage and prolongs equipment lifespan.

The efficiency of pallet conveyors includes improving warehouse flow, decreasing traffic, minimizing labor load handling,  and reducing product damage. All of these are taken into consideration by Power Pack engineers when designing the best conveyors for palletizing industries.
